250 Citizens Invited to Visit Tourist Destinations in East Jakarta

As many as 250 citizens of East Jakarta invited to visit three tourist destinations in East Jakarta who were from academics, cultural activists, travel entrepreneurs, music lover communities, Cagar Betawi Condet Foundation and vocational school students majoring in tourism from a number of schools.

With this activity, they are hoped able to be more familiar with the culture and art tourism destination in East Jakarta

Local Residents Support Ciliwung River to Be Ecotourism Destination

East Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-agency Head, Henry Wardhana said that they departed using five tourist buses to visit Benjamin Sueb Park, Jakarta Velodrome International and Prince Jayakarta's Tomb.

At Benyamin Sueb Park, they saw and enjoyed a number of relics of the late great Betawian artist, Benyamin Sueb, like laken hat, Jenggo shoes and bag.

Afterwards they headed to the Jakarta International Velodrome to explore everything at the venue of the 2018 Asian Games.

"They then continue to the Prince Jayakarta's Tomb," he stated.
